Chicken with a little bit of kink of chilies and tanginess from the lime zest turns out to be full of taste and flavors. The margination of chicken with oil, wine, or spices is a simple process also not time-consuming. It would take roughly around 20 minutes for the process to complete.
Other than this we need to make a minty, lemon, and garlic yogurt sauce, it will light up the chicken wrap making it zingy.
Ingredients: 2 skinless chicken breasts, 1 tbsp olive oil, cumin, and red jalapeno, ¼ tbsp smoked paprika, ½ dried coriander, 2 tbsp lime juice, 1 lime zest
For Yogurt: ½ cup natural yogurt, 5 to 6 mint leaves, half lemon, 1 clove garlic, ¼ tsp sea salt, ¼ tsp black pepper.
For Wrap: 4 Wraps, 1 sliced avocado, ¼ cucumber, 1 sliced cup of cherry tomatoes, Thinly sliced ½ onion, ½ lettuce, 1 green jalapeno (optional), 1 small handful of coriander leaves, 2 tbsp watercress (optional), ½ lime
– Mix the oil, lime zest and juice, and spices. Add the chicken breast and completely cover it with marinate and keep it for 20 minutes for the marinade.
– Now add all the ingredients to a bowl and make the yogurt sauce. Then place it in the fridge and remove it while serving.
– Heat the griddle pan, add chicken to it and cover it with marinade if remaining. Now cook it for 20 minutes. Do turn it halfway. Once the chicken is cooked well. Let it cool. Upon cooling slice it.
– For making a wrap, add lettuce to the middle of the wrap, add the chicken slice, avocado, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, and jalapenos. Squeeze the lime over it and pour yogurt on the filling up to your as per taste mini 1 or 2 spoons. Top it with coriander leaves and cress.
