Children of all aged do love chicken, be it chicken fingers, chicken drumstick or chicken nuggets, etc. With some items, you can prepare some chicken recipes to impress your children.

Tasty chicken recipes for children

  1. Cheesy Chicken Nuggets


  • Frozen chicken nuggets, 1/2 kg.
  • Shredded mozzarella, 2 cups
  • Kosher salt
  • Pizza sauce, 1 cup
  • Chopped fresh basil to garnish
  • Black pepper, freshly ground

Preparation methods

Take baking dish and place in it frozen chicken nuggets. Pour some pizza sauce over the nuggets and use ground black pepper and kosher salt for seasoning. Cover with mozzarella and bake them in pre-heated oven for about 25-30 minutes in 400F. Remove and cool. Use fresh basil to garnish.

Maple-Baked Chicken Breasts

  1. Maple-Baked Chicken Breasts


  • Maple syrup, 1/2 cup
  • Skinless, boneless chicken, 3/4 kg.
  • Soy sauce, 2 tbsp
  • Dijon mustard, 1/2 cup
  • Fresh rosemary, 2 sprigs
  • Fresh thyme, 2 sprigs
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

Preparation method

Take 11”x7” baking dish. Use cooking spray and spray on its inside. Place chicken. Rub or sprinkle pepper or salt to chicken. Take small bowl. Mix in it soy sauce, Dijon mustard and maple syrup. Pour this mixture over chicken. Toss to coat meat well. Then tuck thyme sprigs and rosemary alongside chicken. Bake in 425F pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes. Discard herbs. Spoon sauce before serving on chicken!

Sloppy Joes

  1. Easy Chicken & Cheese Sloppy Joes


  • Minced cloves garlic, 1kg
  • Ground chicken, 3/4
  • Shredded mozzarella, 2cups
  • Diced onion, 1 large
  • Brown sugar, 1/3 cup
  • Ketchup, 1 cup
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp
  • Yellow mustard, 2 tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp
  • Chili powder,1tbsp (optional)
  • 4 buns to serve
  • Ground black pepper & Kosher salt

Preparation method

Take large pan, heat oil and cook onion till it becomes tender. Include garlic and cook for about a minute. Stir chicken for 6 minutes and chili powder, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and ketchup to pan. Season using pepper and salt! Stir until well-combined and simmer until mixture gets saucy and thick. Use mozzarella to top it and cover for about 2 minutes. Cool and serve on buns!
