Non-alcoholic Drinks That Pair With Steak
Wine is always preferred with steak and makes the perfect combo. You can prepare non-alcoholic drinks that do go well with grilled steak.
Non-Alcoholic drink preparations
- Pear & Ginger Punch:
Ingredients:
- Chilled pear juice, 8 cups
- Fresh ginger, 3” slice into thirds
- Water, 2 cups
- Seltzer, 3 ½ cups
- Ginger syrup, 1 cup
- Sugar, 1 cup
- Ground ginger, 1 ½ cup
- Lemon juice ¼ cup + 1 tbsp
- Candied ginger to garnish
- Ice
Preparation method
Take saucepan and combine sugar, water and ginger. Bring them to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for about half an hour or until it becomes a syrup. Remove pan from heat and cool. Next, mix together ground ginger, lemon juice and pear juice. Include seltzer to this punch and stir thoroughly. Put ice. To garnish, use candied ginger on toothpicks on cocktail glass.
- Berry Refreshing Drink
Ingredients:
- Seltzer, 2 cups
- Frozen blueberries, 2cups
- Water, ¾ cup
- Sugar, ¾ cup
- Fresh lime juice, 1 tbsp
- Fresh lemon juice, ¾ tbsp
- Ice
Preparation method
Take pan and mix together water and blueberries. Under low heat, cook for 4-6 minutes until berries get tender. Use spatula back part to smash all berries. Simmer and stir frequently for around 6-8 minutes. Once ready, take a bowl with sugar and use sieve to pour over blueberry syrup. Bring it to room temperature and then refrigerate for an hour. Take a glass and mix properly lime juice, lemon juice, seltzer and syrup. Serve by topping it with ice.
Both drinks can be had with steak and sure to be enjoyed by your friends if served on a barbeque party. They also make excellent options for those who do not prefer to have alcoholic drinks.
