But, what a typical American dinner would look like? When you want to have a typical American dinner, you still get to choose from many options available.
A typical American dinner would have various combinations which would serve your daily need of proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, etc. such as:

From Couscous containing protein, antioxidants, and selenium to Pork containing protein, zinc, selenium, vitamin b-12, and b6, meanwhile Spanish being the healthiest one providing fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin k-1 and folic acid.
